I'm the breeder behind Doucette’s De Bordeaux located in Corinth, ME. We offer quality Dogue de Bordeaux puppies from our loving home to yours! They are bred for their health, beauty, and temperament. We care deeply about our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to ensure they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

    I am a Dogue de Bordeaux enthusiast, and I cherish every moment that I get to spend with my dogs! It is a passion of mine to responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy and happy puppies to share with those that appreciate the breed just as much as I do. I knew it was truly my calling when I discovered the joy of helping others find puppy love!

Getting a puppy from Jennifer

Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $2,500 - $6,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Fee varies for several reasons. Price always includes two health exams (6&8 weeks), two sets of vaccinations, 3-4 wormings, microchipping, health certificate (if applicable), 4-5 pounds of kibble, collar, leash, chew toys, play toys, blanket, treats, stuffy, paid AKC registration, 3 generation pedigree, birth - 8 week puppy records, lifetime support, 2 year health guarantee, etc…. Puppies are assigned/picked in the order of deposits received. Placing a deposit ensures your place on the waitlist but does not lock you into a specific litter. Deposits are honored for two cycles (one year from first puppy offered).”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included

Enrichment and socialization

I follow my own training program, developed by 25 years of applying parts of several other trainers programs and using my own experiences over 25 years of training, breeding, sheltering, & boarding our four-legged companions. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized in new places, We introduce collar and leash training, Noise desensitization, Sit Command, "No" Biting or Chewing, Leash Walking, Crate Training, Basic Manners, Initial House Training, Various Surfaces, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Various People, Socialized with Other Animals, and Socialized with Adult Dogs.

I prioritize the health and well-being of each one of my puppies, and I follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.

We send our puppies home with Volhard Personality Test, baby/puppy book, Pedigree (3-5 generations), Registration Papers, Microchipped , Vaccinations, Toy with Mom's Scent, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Puppy Starter Kit, Puppy Leash, Puppy Collar, Food Starter Bag, Certificate of Health, Bone, Blanket with Mom's Scent, and Blanket with Littermates Scent.

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
